AUTOPOLIS no longer retypes invoices – ReFIS processes them

The client's brief:

• Enable an electronic document workflow within the company, built on the OCR service, i.e. automatic text recognition that extracts the data from invoices. Gain greater clarity and control over the documents flowing into the company by archiving incoming documents.

The proposed solution:

Electronic processing and approval of documents within ReFIS. ReFIS collects and efficiently sorts all documents and turns them into a clear archive organized by the chosen identifiers. It all starts with the OCR service, which transcribes documents automatically.

Implementation:

The implementation was a challenge that we handled together and successfully, despite a more demanding start, since the client's ERP system had to be aligned with ReFIS. The “lesson learned” that makes the implementation process considerably easier is an in-depth analysis, to which key employees from all the departments that will use the software should be invited.

Results:

They came immediately in the form of faster processing and document workflow within the company, starting with automatic reading of documents through OCR. The documents are under control thanks to being clearly sorted into the electronic mailroom module in ReFIS, which serves as a single point for receiving all documents in the company. AUTOPOLIS also uses the other features ReFIS offers.
