Intra-company transactions

Intra-company transactions are transactions carried out within one legal entity between different parts of the organization (for example, one department “sells” its product to another department). Parts of the company can be, for example:

• different cost centers,
• company departments,
• production plants or
• projects

This helps ensure transparency and accuracy of financial transactions within the company and makes it possible to track and analyze the profitability of specific parts of the company. Each part of the company is thus responsible for its own financial results.
