Voting

ReFIS Flow - software for digitising and approving documents

Voting is a type of action in the document flow in which voters vote for or against a document.

Voters and vote weight

You add voters to the document flow like other participants and enter a Vote weight in % for each of them. If you do not enter a weight, ReFIS divides the remainder up to 100 % equally among the voters without a weight - with five voters without a weight, each therefore has 20 %.

Quorum and deadline

In the document, you use the “Set up document flow” link to set:

  • Quorum - the share of FOR votes in percent that must be exceeded for the document to pass (50 % by default)
  • Deadline - until when voting is possible (two weeks by default)

How you vote

For the document, you select the “Voting on documents” function and one of the buttons “I vote FOR”, “I vote AGAINST” or “I abstain”. You can later withdraw your vote with the “Withdraw my earlier decision” button. The “Does not apply to me” option is not offered in voting.

Result

  • Passed the vote - the sum of the weights of FOR votes exceeded the quorum.
  • Did not pass the vote - the sum of the weights of AGAINST votes and abstentions exceeded the remainder up to 100 %, or the deadline has passed.
  • Partially voted - some of the voters have voted, but the result has not been decided yet.
